Ceramics and Piano
Making space for rhythm, matter, and warmth
She is a young professional with a deep love for ceramics and the graphic worlds of Escher.
I met her on a cold January evening. She felt her home was asking for new life. There were many objects around her, some ready to leave, others hidden behind white Ikea cabinets, so tucked away that they were almost forgotten.
The floor had never been loved, but it had always been there, unquestioned.

Two desires slowly emerged as essential.
Her ceramics, waiting to be seen and lived with.
And a piano.
A long-held dream, postponed for years because there was no space for it.
So we began by making space. From the Discover your Taste experience, we made together everything seemed clear.
Bulky furniture was removed, rooms were lightened, and the project restarted from what truly mattered.
The ceramics became a starting point, guiding proportions, surfaces, and pauses.
The piano found its place as a quiet centre of gravity.
A new rhythm entered the house.
The atmosphere embraces balance and warmth.

Optical white sets the base, while terracotta, deep blues, and sea-memory greens add depth. Small touches of lemon yellow bring light and contrast. The scent is woody, with hints of citrus.
This is a home that listens.
To music, to matter,
to what deserves space.
