The Home SPA Retreat

Where light, water, and calm take care of the body

This project begins with a man and a desire.

Not a luxury to show, but a daily ritual of care and relaxation. The bathroom, once a functional space, was meant to become a place to slow down, reconnect, and restore the body.

Luxury often suggests dark tones and heavy materials. Through dialogue and the Discover your Taste experience, it became clear that this language did not belong to him. Dark colours created a sense of pressure and discomfort. What he was looking for was lightness, clarity, and a memory of water, like the marine landscapes that accompany his travels.

This is not just a bathroom. It is a private retreat where light replaces darkness, and everyday care becomes a moment of calm.

The bathroom is not large, so the wellness experience focuses on one key element: the shower.

A sensory and hydro-massage shower becomes the heart of the space, designed to engage the body through water, rhythm, and touch.

Glossy surfaces reflect light and recall the marine world. Aquatic blue-green tones define the two main walls, while a glass-fibre wallpaper wraps the room, amplifying the sensation of rain falling on the skin. A large mirror multiplies reflections, expanding the space and echoing the movement of water.

This project has been fully designed and is awaiting realisation.
